Pitarr Jyotish

Running Pitarr Jyotish here in Jaipur is something that keeps me quite busy. I don't have a big office in a mall or a fancy building. I mostly work from a small space where I can look at charts and talk to people who come by. Jaipur is a beautiful place but it gets so hot in the summer that I try to do most of my work in the early morning or late evening. People come to me with all sorts of questions about their lives and their futures. I just sit with them and we talk. It is a very personal thing, looking at someone's stars. I have piles of books and notebooks everywhere because I still like writing things down by hand instead of using a computer for everything. The tea here is good and I usually have a pot going for anyone who drops in. I’ve lived in Jaipur my whole life so I know the city like the back of my hand. My neighbors often stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question while they are out getting groceries. It’s not a corporate business by any means. It’s just me and my books and the people who need a bit of guidance. I don't advertise much because people just seem to find their way to me eventually. It is a quiet way to spend the day and I enjoy the conversations I get to have with all kinds of different folks who live around here.
