Bhaskar Jyotish Kendra

Our place, Bhaskar Jyotish Kendra, is tucked away in Adarsh Nagar over in Gurunanak Pura. We are located at number 239. It's a quiet enough area most days, which helps with the kind of work we do here. People come here when they are feeling a bit lost or just want to see what their stars have to say about their path. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough to know the rhythms of the street. The morning starts with a bit of cleaning and getting the small room ready for visitors. We don't have any flashy signs or big lights outside. Most folks find us by word of mouth or because they live just a few blocks away. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us here helping people out. We sit down, look at the charts, and talk through things. It’s simple. Sometimes we have tea while we work if it's a long session. The walls have some old pictures on them, and the furniture is nothing to write home about, but it's comfortable for a long talk. Life in Gurunanak Pura is steady. We see the same faces walking by the window every day. When someone comes into 239, we just try to give them our time and listen. It isn't about being the biggest place in town. We just want to do right by the people who come to us for advice.
