Bharwaliya Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based in Ward No 5, right near Hanuman Gari in Ghughali. We use the space at the Mrjsewa Sansthan where Ramakant is. We named it Bharwaliya Farmer Producer Company Limited because that is our local identity. We are just a bunch of people who grow things for a living. We have been in this area for our whole lives. Instead of everyone going to the market on their own, we decided to pool everything together. It makes the logistics a little bit easier for everyone involved. We do not have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure our families are fed and the crops are sold at a decent rate. The office is just a small room with some chairs and a desk where we keep our files. Most of our meetings happen while we are standing around in the dirt or sitting under a tree. It is a very informal way of working but it gets the job done. Ghughali is a quiet place and we like to keep it that way. We do not spend money on marketing or any of that stuff. We just focus on the harvest. If the rain comes at the right time, we are happy. If not, we just figure out a way to get through it. We are just local farmers helping local farmers. That is the whole story of how we run things here in Ward 5.
