Bharatari Tea Co

Bharatari Tea Co is located at 607 Chandpole Bazar, specifically on the first floor along Jai Lal Munshi Ka Rasta. If you have ever been to this part of the market, you know it is always crowded and noisy. We have to climb a narrow set of stairs to get to our floor every single day. The walls are a bit stained from years of use, but we don't mind much. Inside, the whole place smells like tea leaves, which is something you get used to after about ten minutes. We spend most of our time moving heavy bags around and checking the scales. It is not the kind of office you see in movies. There are crates stacked up in the corners and the furniture is mostly old wood that creaks a bit. We don't really bother with decorations or fancy displays. It is a working space through and through. The guys from the other shops often stop by to chat for a minute while we are unloading things. In the evenings, the light from the street lamps filters through the windows. It is a lot of hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we like being right in the middle of the bazar. It feels like we are part of the history of the lane. We just keep our heads down, handle the tea, and make sure everything is sorted for the next morning.
