Bhagwan Provision & General Store

My shop is situated in Malviya Nagar at 1/1274. It’s a small general store where we keep all the daily essentials for the people living in this block. You can find everything from different kinds of dal and rice to soaps and biscuits on the shelves. I start my day quite early, usually by seven, so the neighbors can get their milk and bread before they head off to work. The space is a bit tight because I try to stock as many items as possible, so bags of grain are often stacked up to the ceiling. I’ve known most of my customers for years and we often chat about the weather or the local news while I’m weighing out their pulses. I don’t use any of those high-tech billing systems, just a simple calculator and a ledger book where I note everything down by hand. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic in the evenings when everyone comes at once, but I manage to get everyone sorted. My son helps me out when he’s not busy with his schoolwork. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights outside. It’s just a regular neighborhood store where you can get what you need without any trouble. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass jars and rearranging the packets. It’s a quiet life, mostly, and I like being part of the community here in Malviya Nagar. We just keep things simple.
