Bengani Tea Co

Our shop is tucked away in Agarwal Market, right in the middle of Chandpole Bazar on Mishra Rajaji Ka Rasta. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets. The smell of tea is everywhere around our place. We spend our mornings opening up the sacks and checking the leaves. It’s a lot of work to keep track of everything, especially in such a busy market. We’ve got different types of tea sitting in bins and boxes all over the place. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room for all of us and the customers, but we manage. People come in looking for their regular blend, and we scoop it out for them. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just an old-fashioned tea shop. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the wooden crates. We talk to the other shopkeepers around here a lot. It’s a tight community in the bazar. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but tea is one of those things that stays the same. People always want a good cup. We just focus on having the stock ready when they come by. It’s a simple business, really. We buy it, we keep it, and we sell it. If you’re walking through the market, you might hear us talking or see the bags being moved around. It’s a noisy, busy place to work, but we like it.
