Bansal General Store

Bansal General Store is our family shop in Gowardhan. You can find us right in Tripolia Bazar, which is always crowded and noisy. We are very close to the Daan Ghati Minder, so there are always pilgrims and locals walking past our door. We sell a little bit of everything. From daily groceries to small household items, we try to keep the shelves stocked with what people actually need. It’s a small space and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when too many customers come in at once. I usually sit behind the counter while my nephew helps grab things from the high shelves. We open early in the morning and stay open until the market starts to quiet down at night. It is a lot of standing and talking to neighbors. We know most of our customers by name since they live right around the corner. The shop has been here for years and the floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic. We don't do any fancy marketing or have a big sign. The location near the temple brings in a lot of strangers too, especially during festivals. It gets really hectic then. We just try to keep things organized so people can find their salt or soap without too much trouble. It is just a simple life running a store in the middle of a busy bazar and we do our best.
