Charlie Outlaw

Our place, Charlie Outlaw, is situated on the 2nd floor of Crystal Mall. The mall is right on the Jai Singh Highway in the Bani Park area. Being in a mall is a bit different from being on a street corner. You have the air conditioning and the mall security, but you also have the constant hum of the escalators and people walking by the glass. We are in unit No. 215. It’s not the biggest space, but we make it work for what we need to do. Bani Park is a well-known part of town, and the highway makes it easy for people to get here. We usually arrive before the mall fully opens to get things organized. The 2nd floor has a mix of different shops, so you see all kinds of people throughout the day. Some are just window shopping and others know exactly what they want. We stay focused on our tasks and keep the shop looking decent enough. Jai Singh Highway is always busy, so looking out the windows from the higher floors gives you a good view of the traffic. It’s a practical location for us. We don’t do a lot of fancy decorating. We just have our items out and we wait for the day to get moving. Working in Crystal Mall means we follow the mall hours, so our rhythm is tied to that. It’s a steady way to run things.
