Balaji Beverage

Balaji Beverage is located near the Jaipur G P O in the Takhat Gahr area. We are really close to the Defence School, so you can always hear the kids playing or the bells ringing during the day. The shop is filled with crates of different sodas and water bottles. We have a few big refrigerators that hum all day long to keep everything cold, which is important when the Jaipur heat gets bad. People usually stop by when they are thirsty on their way home or if they are picking up their children from school. It is a simple setup with a counter and some storage space in the back. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow road for a minute while they drop off new stock, and we have to move quickly to get everything inside. I spend my time checking the dates on the bottles and making sure the coolers are full. It is a bit crowded with all the plastic crates stacked up, but we know where everything is. The neighbors often pop in just to say hello or grab a quick drink. There is always some dust from the road coming in, but I try to keep the counters wiped down. It is just a regular local spot where people come to get something cold to drink without any fuss.
