Bajaj Departmental Store

I've been running Bajaj Departmental Store for quite some time now over in Virat Nagar. It's right in the main market area, not too far from the Jaipur G P O. People around here know where to find us. We mostly keep the usual stuff folks need for their houses every day. Flour, sugar, some snacks, and those small things you forget to buy during the big monthly shop. The shelves aren't always perfectly lined up, but we try to keep things where you can find them. It gets a bit busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work, but that is just how it goes in a busy market. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter or moving boxes around. Sometimes the stock arrives late or we run out of a specific brand of tea, but we usually have something else that works just as well. We aren't doing anything fancy here. It's just a regular shop for regular people in the neighborhood. Some customers have been coming to us since we first opened our doors years ago. We know most of the faces that walk in, which makes the long hours feel a bit shorter. If you are passing through the main market in Virat Nagar, you will see our sign. Nothing much has changed over the years, and we like it that way. We just keep the doors open and try to have what people ask for.
