Ayurved Sanskrit Hindi Pustak Bhandar

Ayurved Sanskrit Hindi Pustak Bhandar is right in the middle of Jhalanio Ka Rasta in Kishanpole Bazaar. It is a busy spot and sometimes the traffic makes it hard to get here, but we have been in this location for quite some time now. Our shelves are mostly packed with books on Ayurveda and Sanskrit. We also have a lot of Hindi titles that people come looking for from all over the city. It is not a very big shop, and honestly, things get a bit disorganized when new stock arrives. We spend a lot of our day dusting the covers and making sure we can actually find what someone is asking for. Sometimes a customer comes in looking for a very specific old text, and we have to dig through the stacks in the back. It is just a regular bookstore run by people who know these subjects reasonably well. We don't have fancy displays or air conditioning that works all the time. The lighting is a bit old-fashioned too. Most people who come here are students or local practitioners who already know what they want. We just sit here, talk to the regulars, and keep the books moving. It is a simple life and we like being part of this old market area. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings us chai and we just watch the crowds go by. That is basically how it goes every day at our little shop.
