Asam Tea is based out near Dudu, in a village called Mauzamabad. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, away from the main city noise and all that traffic. Being in a village means things move a little slower, which isn't always a bad thing. We have our space set up where we deal with the tea, and it’s mostly just a practical building meant for storage and handling the bags. You won't find any flashing lights or big advertisements around here. Usually, it's just the sound of the wind or some local birds while we work. The people in Mauzamabad know where we are, but for anyone else, you just have to ask for the tea place near Dudu. We spend a lot of time making sure the sacks are stacked right and the place stays dry. It’s dusty sometimes because of the roads, but we do our best to keep the tea clean. We don’t have a massive staff, just a few local hands who have been with us for a while. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit tricky, but we manage to get things out on time. It is a simple life running a tea business in the countryside. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team telling us what to do. We just know the tea and we know the village, and that is enough for us to keep going every day.
