If you walk down Chandpole Bazar and turn into Mishraji Ka Rasta, you will find us at number 65. It is a narrow lane and it is always crowded with people, carts, and scooters. Our shop has been here for a long time, selling tea to the locals and the other shops around us. We have big metal bins full of different grades of tea leaves. It is not like the supermarkets where everything is already in a plastic box. Here, you can smell the tea as soon as you get close to the door. We spend a lot of time weighing out small bags for people who just want enough for the week. The walls are a bit stained from years of dust and tea, but it feels like home to us. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for the business. We just talk to our customers. Most of them we know by their names or their family. We talk about the weather or the tea prices while we pack the bags. It is a slow kind of business in a very fast part of town. Sometimes we sit on the wooden bench outside and just watch the people go by in the bazar. It is a good life, even if it is a bit dusty and loud most of the time. We just focus on the stock.
