Anand Engineering Works

You can find us over on Pareek College Road in Jaipur, at number 1/398. It’s a decent spot, though the traffic can get a bit much during school hours when the students are all out. We started Anand Engineering Works because we liked fixing things and figuring out how parts fit together. It’s mostly just us and a few tools. The walls have seen better days and there are blueprints taped up all over the place. We do a lot of custom work, so one day we might be welding something small and the next we are trying to fix a larger piece of equipment. It’s not the kind of place that’s super clean, there’s usually some metal shavings on the floor by the end of the day. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the jobs we have lined up. Jaipur is a good city for this kind of work because there is always something being built or repaired nearby. We don't bother with much advertising, most of our work comes from people just knowing we are here on the road. Sometimes it’s hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. We take pride in just getting the job done without making a big fuss about it. If someone brings us a problem, we try to find a way to solve it with what we have on hand.
