I have been working out of 64 Mahesh Nagar in Ganga Vihar for quite some time now. It is a residential kind of area, so you get to know the neighbors and the kids playing in the street pretty well. Amit Hazela is just me and my small setup here. I don't have a big staff or a corporate office with glass walls. It is mostly just a desk, a couple of chairs, and a lot of papers that seem to pile up no matter how often I organize them. The street can get a bit crowded with bikes and people going about their business, but it feels like home. I usually start my day quite early before the sun gets too hot. There is a small window that looks out onto the lane, and I spend a lot of time there working through whatever tasks are on the list for that day. It isn't a very glamorous setup, but it works for what I do. Sometimes people drop by for a quick word or to drop something off. It is all very informal here. I don't really have a big speech about what I do. I just handle the work as it comes in and try to stay on top of things. It is a quiet way to earn a living, and I prefer it that way over the noise of the main city markets.
