We set up Ajitgarh Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited because farming in Sikar isn't always easy. Sanwar Mal Sharma is the main person here, and we use his place on Shah Pura Road in Ajeetgarh as our base. It’s not a big office, just a spot where we can get together and handle the basics. Most of the time, everyone is busy out in their own fields. We wanted to have a way to help each other with things like getting better prices for what we grow. It felt like the right thing to do for the community around Ajeetgarh. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a marketing team. It’s just us farmers trying to navigate the markets together. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing, but we manage. You can find us near the Shah Pura Road if you need to talk. We aren't trying to be some massive company. We just want to make sure the work we do on our farms actually pays off at the end of the year. Being in Sikar means dealing with the local weather and the specific soil we have here. We know the area well since we've been here for a long time. People around here know us as neighbors first. We’re just trying to keep the farming tradition going in a way that makes sense for everyone involved in the group.
