Agroprima Farmers Producer Companylimited is over here in Shilwandi. Specifically, we are at H. No. 250 in the Akole Taluka of the Anagar district. It’s a nice area, quite green most of the year. We are a group of farmers who decided to put our resources together. It’s not easy running a producer company when you have to worry about the rain and the market prices all at once. Our office at house number 250 is where we keep all the records and have our small meetings. We aren't trying to be some big national brand. We just want to make sure the farmers in Shilwandi get a fair deal for what they grow. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we help each other out. We speak simply and we work simply. There aren't any big suits or ties here. Usually, we are in our regular clothes, ready to go out to the fields if needed. People in the village know us well. They stop by to ask about seeds or how the last batch of produce sold. It’s a very local thing. We don’t have a fancy website or a lot of advertisements. Word of mouth is how most people find out about what we are doing here in Akole. We just focus on the daily tasks and hope for a good harvest every season. It is hard work but it is our life.
