Ajay Pareek

Ajay Pareek has this place in Shastri Nagar, specifically in the Housing Board area near the Jaipur GPO. It’s a busy part of the city. There’s always someone moving around or a scooter zipping by outside the window. Our space at 41334 is quite simple. We didn't spend much on the interior because we are mostly focused on the tasks at hand. It’s got a roof and four walls, and that’s plenty for us. Usually, the mornings are the busiest. We get the mail, check what needs to be done, and just start. There’s no big hierarchy here. Everyone just chips in. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff delivered, but we manage to shift things around eventually. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops opening and old ones closing down. We stayed put though. It’s a reliable spot for us. We don't have a lot of rules about how things should look, as long as the work is finished. You might see some old newspapers piled up in the corner or a half-empty water bottle on a desk. It’s just how it is when you’re busy working through the pile of things to do. We don't try to hide the fact that this is a working office. It is what it is, a place where we put in the hours every day and get the jobs done.
