Ajay Departmental Store

We’ve got our store set up in Teg Bahadur Nagar, right near the Radha Krishna Temple on Goner Road. Ajay Departmental Store is the kind of place where you can find a bit of everything you need for the house. We aren’t one of those massive supermarkets where you get lost in the aisles. It’s just a regular shop where we know most of the people who walk through the door. We keep the shelves stocked with the usual stuff—flour, sugar, snacks, and some household cleaners. The shop isn't perfectly organized all the time; sometimes the deliveries arrive and there are boxes in the way for a bit. But we try our best. Being near the temple means we get a lot of people passing by on their way to pray. It’s a nice community to be part of. We don't have a marketing strategy or fancy loyalty cards. If you need something, you come in, we find it for you, and that’s it. Some days are quiet, and we just sit and chat with the neighbors. Other days, like during festivals, it gets really busy and we’re running around. The building is simple, and we’ve lived in this area for a long time. It’s our life, really. We just enjoy being the local spot where people can grab their groceries without any fuss. It works out well for us and the people living on Goner Road.
