Ailyak Design Llp

Ailyak Design Llp is over at T 2, Plot No D 19 in the Balaji Residency building. That’s in Radha Vihar, Sodala. It’s a small apartment that we turned into a workspace. It’s actually quite cozy once you get used to the layout. We have our computers set up and a table for when we need to sketch things out. The name Ailyak is about taking things slow and enjoying the moment, which we try to do, even when we have a lot of work. We aren't the type to wear suits or have formal meetings. Most of our discussions happen while we're making tea or just sitting around. Sodala is a central place, so it’s easy for us to get around Jaipur from here. We started this because we liked designing things and didn't want to work for a big company. It’s been tough sometimes, especially when the bills come due, but we enjoy the freedom. We don't have a receptionist, so if you knock, one of us will just come to the door. Our desks are usually a mess of books and sketches. We don't pretend to be more polished than we are. We’re just a couple of designers in Radha Vihar trying to make things that look good and work well. It’s a small life, but it suits us just fine. We just take things one day at a time here.
