Agrawal Departmental Store

Our place is Agrawal Departmental Store, located at Shop No-28 and 29. We are right on New Sanganer Road, which is a pretty active part of Jaipur. Specifically, we are in the Sanganer Bazar area, near Sweg Farm and Narender Nagar. Having two shop numbers gives us a bit more room than some of the other stores around here. We use that extra space to stock a wider variety of goods for the kitchen and home. It is a typical departmental store setup. We have been in Jaipur 302019 for quite some time now. The traffic on New Sanganer Road can be quite something, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We see a lot of people stopping their scooters or cars to pick up groceries. It is a busy life, but we like it. We do not have a big corporate office or any fancy branding. It is just the owners and a couple of helpers running the floor every day. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals from Narender Nagar. They tell us what is going on in the neighborhood while we ring up their items. The store gets a bit warm in the Jaipur summers, but the fans keep us going. We try to keep the stock fresh and the floors as clean as possible. There is nothing fancy about our approach. We just open the doors, wait for customers, and do our best to help them find what they need.
