Agarwal Stores

The shop is right there on Bambala Main Road. It's been there for a while now. Most days start pretty early because the road gets busy fast. We just open up the shutters and start arranging things. It's not one of those big malls where everything is shiny. It's just Agarwal Stores. We have what people usually need when they are passing by or if they live nearby. Sometimes the dust from the main road gets inside, so there is a lot of cleaning to do every few hours. It's just me and a couple of others here. We don't really have a big team or anything like that. When someone walks in, we just help them find what they want. It’s simple work really. There are days when it’s too hot to do much, but the shop stays open regardless. We see the same faces often, which is nice. You get to know the neighbors. We don't spend money on fancy ads or signs. The old board is still there. We just try to keep the shelves full. If something runs out, we order more. That's the whole cycle. It's not a complicated life here on the main road. We just do our bit and go home when the sun goes down. Most of the time it's just about making sure the inventory is right and the customers are treated like normal people.
