Agarwal Kirana General Store

We are located in the Karni Nagar area of Vivek Vihar, right on Gandhi Path in Vaishali Nagar. Agarwal Kirana General Store is basically just a room filled with everything from soap to pulses. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when a few people come in at once. We don’t have much in the way of fancy lighting, just some tube lights that buzz a little. It is what it is. The shop has been here for a while, and the neighborhood has grown up around it. Jaipur is changing fast, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We handle the daily tasks ourselves, like unloading sacks and weighing out items for customers. Sometimes the dog from next door comes and sits by the entrance for some shade. We don't mind. It’s a local spot where people come to grab what they forgot to buy at the big market. The shelves are made of old wood and they’ve seen better days, but they hold the weight well enough. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here on the way into Vivek Vihar. It’s a straightforward shop for straightforward needs. We keep it honest and just do our work day in and day out without much fuss. The fans keep us cool enough during the hot Jaipur afternoons when the street goes a bit quiet.
