Agarwal General Store

We've been here on Railway Station Road for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot in Bani Park, right near Barodia Basti. Most days it’s just about keeping the shelves full of stuff people actually need. We get a lot of regulars who come in for their daily snacks or household items since it’s on the way home for many. The shop isn't fancy, just some basic racks and a counter where we spend most of our day. Being near the station means there’s always someone walking by, and we try to keep things organized so they can find what they want quickly. Sometimes the morning delivery gets delayed or the weather makes things a bit slow, but that’s just how it goes with a small store. We handle the inventory ourselves and usually know exactly where everything is kept. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see different people behind the counter depending on the time of day. We don't do much fancy talk here. If we have it, it's on the shelf. If we don't, we'll try to get it in the next order. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside on the main road, but we keep the place swept up. People in Jaipur know this area is always moving, and we're just one of those shops that's been part of the street for years. The station area never sleeps, and we spend time just watching the world go by from the counter. Nothing more to it really.
