Aashirwad General Stores

Aashirwad General Stores is right there in Sector 9 of Malviya Nagar, at number 29 in the Palika Bazar area. We’ve got a bit of everything here, which is why it’s a general store. You can find your basic kitchen supplies, snacks, soap, and all those little things you realize you’ve run out of at the last minute. Palika Bazar is a good location because there are always people walking through to do their daily shopping. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of shelf space we have. Things are stacked pretty high. We know most of the people who come in because they live just a few streets away in Malviya Nagar. It’s nice to have that connection with the neighborhood. We aren't like those big supermarkets where nobody knows your name. Here, we chat about the weather or how the local market is doing while we’re bagging up the items. It gets busy in the mornings and right before dinner time when everyone is grabbing what they need for a meal. Sometimes we’re just helping someone find a specific brand of tea or a certain kind of cleaning brush. It’s basic, everyday work, but we enjoy it. We try to keep the staples in stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. It’s just a small family-run shop trying to be useful to the people in Sector 9. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now.
