Aapka General Store

Aapka General Store is right in Bapu Nagar, specifically at A-4 in the Central Market. If you've ever been to the market, you know it's a place where everyone meets up. Our shop isn't very large, but we try to keep it stocked with the things people in the neighborhood use every day. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We have been here at A-4 for several years now. The shelves are tall and sometimes it’s hard to reach the top ones without a stool. We know most of the customers by their first names. It’s that kind of place. We don't do any fancy promotions or have a big logo on the front. It’s just a simple sign and a lot of goods packed inside. The floor is a bit worn from all the feet walking over it, but we think it gives the place a bit of history. We’re usually here from early morning until late at night. Sometimes the delivery trucks arrive at the same time and things get a bit crowded on the sidewalk. We just handle it as it comes. It’s a local business, run by local people. We don't have a corporate office somewhere else. Everything happens right here in the middle of Bapu Nagar. It’s just a honest way to make a living.
