If you look for us at C-14 on the first floor, you have to go behind the MLA Quarter on MI Road. The stairs are a bit narrow and you might miss the entrance if you are walking too fast. Once you get upstairs, you can usually hear the sound of the machines running. It gets pretty warm in the summer because the ventilation isn't the best, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. There is always a smell of ink and paper in the air which we have gotten used to over the years. We spend a lot of time checking the trays and making sure everything is aligned properly. It is a hands-on kind of job and our clothes often get small stains on them by the end of the shift. The location on Mirja Is Mail Road is convenient because there are plenty of shops nearby for when we need a quick lunch. We keep a kettle in the corner for making coffee during the afternoon slump. The windows look out over a busy patch of the street where people are always rushing somewhere. We just keep our heads down and handle the tasks as they come in. It’s not a large space but we make use of every corner we have for storing supplies and finished jobs.
