Ssr Bricks

Ssr Bricks is tucked away in Atul Vihar, over in Wright Town. It's a bit more crowded here than some of the bigger yards outside the city, but we make it work. We’ve been here for a good bit now, supplying the local builders. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the stacks of bricks that you can see from the street. The process is pretty much the same every day. We get the raw material in, get the mixing done, and then the workers start filling the molds. It gets busy during the dry season when everyone wants to build. We try to keep up, but sometimes we run short because the kiln can only hold so much at once. It’s noisy and there is always dust flying around, but that’s just how a brickyard is. Most of the guys working here live nearby, so we know most of the people who stop by. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to provide what’s needed for the houses being put up around here. If you need a few hundred bricks or a whole truckload, we just handle it the same way. We don't use any fancy computers, just a ledger and a pen to keep track of what goes out. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to be loaded up.
