Paras Bricks Indrusty

Our place, Paras Bricks Industry, is situated right on the Nagpur Highway Road. It is a very noisy spot because of all the big transport trucks zooming by at all hours of the day and night. The vibration from the road sometimes shakes the stacks if we pile them too high. We have to be careful about that so they do not fall over. Being on the highway is good for people finding us, though. They see the sign and the big piles of bricks and just pull over. The air is always a mix of exhaust fumes and the smell of burning clay from the chimney. It is not exactly fresh air, but it is the smell of work. We have a small crew that lives in huts right behind the kiln. They are the ones who keep the fire going through the middle of the night. I usually show up around seven in the morning to see what happened during the dark hours. Sometimes there is a problem with the kiln temperature, and we have to adjust the vents manually. It is a lot of manual labor. We do not have a website or a social media page. If you want to talk to us, you just drive down the highway and look for the red piles. We sit under the shade of a big neem tree during our lunch breaks to get away from the hot sun. It is a tough environment, but it is what we do.
