Sourabh Jain

My name is Sourabh Jain and I run my travel business out of Shop No 9 in Anand Appartment. This is in Napier Town, near the Home Science College Road. It’s a nice area of Jabalpur and I’ve been here for a good amount of time. I don’t have a big staff or a corporate office. It’s mostly just me taking care of things. When people come in, they talk directly to me about where they need to go. I handle everything from booking the tickets to making sure the travel dates work out. Being near the college road means I see a lot of students and families from the neighborhood. It’s a small shop but it’s got everything I need to get the work done. I keep a calendar on the wall and spend a lot of time on my phone or computer getting things sorted for my clients. I don't use any fancy language to describe what I do. I just help people travel. Some days are slow and I just sit and wait for the phone to ring, and other days I’m so busy I barely have time for lunch. I like being my own boss and knowing my customers by name. It’s a personal way of doing business and I think people appreciate that they can just come in and have a chat with me about their plans.
