Volcano Enterprises

Our place is located in the village of Shahpur, which is in the Katni Tehsil. It is a quiet area compared to the city, and we are right at the post address for the village. We have been here for a while, and the business is pretty much part of the local scenery now. We deal with various materials that are common in this part of Katni, and most of our work involves coordinating how these items get moved from the village out to the bigger markets. The office we have is very simple, just enough room for a desk and some chairs where we can talk to the drivers and the workers. It is not the kind of place where you will see people in suits; we are all usually wearing work clothes because there is always something to lift or check on outside. The road leading to our spot can be a bit rough, especially after the rains, but the trucks manage to get through eventually. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just standing outside watching the loading process. Life in the village moves at its own pace, and we try to stick to that rhythm while still getting the work done. We don't do any big promotions or have a fancy sign.
