Sanjay Hair Dressers

Sanjay Hair Dressers is located right by the Halwai Mandir at Rampur Chowk in Jabalpur. It’s a very easy place to find if you’re traveling along Narmada Road. My father started this years ago, and we’ve kept it going in the same way. We don't have fancy air conditioning that always works or leather sofas, but the chairs are solid. Most of our customers are men from the neighborhood who want a standard haircut or a clean shave. We know exactly how Mr. Gupta likes his sideburns or how the boys from the local school want their hair for their exams. It’s a noisy corner with all the traffic from the chowk, but inside it’s just the sound of scissors and maybe a radio playing some old songs. We don't do anything too modern or strange. If you want a classic look, we can do that. Sometimes we stay open late if there’s a big event in town or a wedding in the family nearby. We’ve seen the Mandir area change quite a bit over the decades, but the shop stays mostly the same. It’s a place where you can sit and talk about cricket or the weather while you wait your turn. We don't need a website or anything like that to let people know we are here. Just look for the temple.
