Padama Soundarya Prasadan

Padama Soundarya Prasadan is located near the Dada Darbar over in the Shaahi Naka area of Garha, Jabalpur. We’ve been here in Jabalpur City for quite some time now. This shop is a bit different because we focus on beauty items and cosmetics alongside some general things. It’s a busy neighborhood, especially with the darbar nearby, so we get a lot of visitors throughout the week. I spend my time helping ladies pick out the right shades of bindi or finding a particular hair oil they like. The shop isn't very big, and the shelves are packed tight with all sorts of bottles and containers. It smells quite nice inside because of all the soaps and perfumes we keep. I usually open around mid-morning and stay until late in the evening. Garha is a lively place, and I like being right in the middle of it at Shaahi Naka. I don't use any fancy displays, just glass counters where people can see what we have. Sometimes the kids from the street come in looking for small treats, and I have to tell them we don't keep many toys. Dealing with the distributors can be a bit of a chore, but seeing the regulars come back makes it worth it. I keep a small register to write down what we sell each day.
