New Sharda Band

If you walk down the main road in Ghamapur, you’ll find us near Sipla Mai. New Sharda Band has been a part of this Jabalpur neighborhood for quite some time now. Our place isn't hard to find if you’re looking for the sound of music or just the general bustle of the main road. We keep our instruments here, and there’s usually someone around practicing or fixing a drum. It’s a simple shop, not some big polished studio. We have some chairs where people sit and talk about what they need for their parades or weddings. The walls are covered with some old photos and maybe a stray calendar. Being in Ghamapur means we see all sorts of people every day. It’s a lively spot, and we like being right in the middle of it. When the wedding season kicks in, this place gets really crowded with band members coming in and out, checking their uniforms and getting their horns ready. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything like that. Most people know us just by walking past or hearing about us from someone else in the city. It’s a family-style environment where we just focus on the music and making sure we show up on time. The road outside is always dusty and noisy, but that’s just Jabalpur for you. We just keep doing what we do, year after year, right here on the main road.
