Chef N Dish

Chef N Dish is based in the Prathana Kunj Apartment over in the Gorakhpur area of Jabalpur. We are quite close to Sharda Talkies, which is the main landmark people use to find us. Being in an apartment building means it feels a bit more like a home than a sterile office. We have our kitchen area and workspace all set up. There is usually the smell of something cooking or being prepared since that is what we do. It is a busy place, especially around lunch and dinner times. We have to manage our space carefully because an apartment can get small pretty quickly when you have a lot of dishes and ingredients around. The Gorakhpur neighborhood is quite lively, so there is always noise from the street and the nearby cinema. We spend a lot of time washing up and prepping for the next day. It is not a glamorous job, but we enjoy the work and the people we meet. Sometimes we run out of something and have to rush out to the local market to grab it. We do not have a huge team, just a few of us who know our way around the kitchen. It is a bit of a squeeze when everyone is working at once, but we make it work. Most of our neighbors know us by now because of the constant activity in and out of Prathana Kunj. It is just our daily life here.
