Dream Light

I've been running Dream Light at Shop No 9 in Kuccheni Market for a while now. Jabalpur is where I grew up, so setting up here felt right. People mostly come in looking for different types of bulbs or maybe some fancy lighting for their homes. The shop isn't huge, but we keep a good variety of things on the shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on the weekends when the market is busy. I try to keep things organized, though it’s a struggle with all the boxes coming in. Most days it’s just me and a helper making sure the displays work. We have floor lamps, ceiling lights, and those small fairy lights people like for festivals. If someone asks for something we don't have, I usually try to get it from the distributor by the next week. It’s a simple business. I like talking to the regulars who stop by after work. Sometimes the electricity in the market acts up, but that’s just how it is here. I’ve spent many years in this spot, watching the shops around me change. It's funny how many types of switches there are these days compared to when I started. People have different tastes now. I just focus on keeping the stock updated and making sure the shop stays open on time. There’s always something to fix or a shelf to dust. It keeps me busy from morning till the market closes at night. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
