Make Over Family Salon

Down in Jabalpur, specifically in the Vijay Nagar area, we have our place called Make Over Family Salon. We are situated in Ekta Tower on MR 4 Road. It’s a busy spot right by Ekta Chowk, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We called it a family salon because we really do get everyone coming in. We see fathers bringing their sons for their first haircut, and ladies coming in to get their hair done for a wedding or just for the week. The tower is a well-known building, so it’s easy for people to explain where we are. Inside, we’ve tried to make it look nice without being too over the top. We have separate areas for different services so everyone has a bit of privacy. Jabalpur can get quite dusty and noisy, but we try to keep the salon feeling like a little escape from the traffic at the chowk. We aren't part of some big company; it's just a local operation. We hire people from the area and we try to do a good job so people keep coming back. We spend a lot of time cleaning up hair from the floor and keeping our tools sanitized. It’s not a glamorous life, but we enjoy the conversations we have with the people of Jabalpur. We've been at Ekta Tower for some time now and we hope to stay for a lot longer. We just take it one day at a time, serving the folks who walk in.
