Vijay Impex

We are located at No. 13 in the Press Complex, inside the Apni Duniya Building on A B Road. It’s an older building, and you can tell by the walls and the way the stairs creak. Vijay Impex is a small operation where we handle a lot of trading and importing. The office is basically a few rooms filled with samples, files, and a couple of old computers. Being on A B Road means there is a constant stream of cars and buses zooming by, so it’s never really quiet here. We spend our mornings going through emails from suppliers and our afternoons checking on deliveries. There isn't a lot of ceremony to what we do. We just sit at our desks, make our calls, and try to keep the business moving. The "Apni Duniya" name always makes us smile because it really does feel like our own little world tucked away in the press complex. We don't have a lot of people working here, just a small team that has been together for a while. We know each other's coffee orders and who is likely to be late on a Monday. We don't do anything fancy to impress anyone. We just handle the trading, deal with the customs forms, and make sure the boxes get to where they need to go. It’s just a steady, everyday job for us.
