Sunshine Cutting Saloon

Sunshine Cutting Saloon is located at 11, Noorani Nagar on Dhar Road in Indore. It’s a bit away from the very center of the city, but Dhar Road is still a major route, so there’s always something happening outside. The shop is part of the 452002 area, and most of the people who come in live just a few streets away. We keep things very basic here. There are a couple of chairs, some mirrors, and a shelf for the razors and sprays. The light in the shop is a bit dim sometimes, especially in the late afternoon when the sun starts to go down, but we’ve got enough bulbs to keep things visible. The neighborhood is mostly families and working-class guys, so we don't get many requests for anything too wild. It’s usually just a simple haircut or a clean shave. We have an old ceiling fan that wobbles a bit when it’s on the highest setting, but it keeps the air from getting too stale. There’s a small stool in the corner where we keep the local newspaper, though most people just look at their phones these days while they wait. We don't have any big slogans or promises on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a picture of a deity. It’s a quiet place to work, and we like the slow pace of the mornings before the afternoon rush starts. It’s just how a local shop should be.
