Gate Way Family Salon

Gate Way Family Salon is just a small place we run here at Bangali Square in Indore. You’ll find us right on the Service Road near the Punjab National Bank. Most days are busy with folks from the neighborhood stopping by. We’ve been here for a while now, right along the Ring Road. It gets pretty noisy outside with all the traffic passing through Bangali, but inside we try to keep things simple and easygoing. I remember when we first set up the chairs; it felt like a big step. Now, it’s just where we spend our days. We see all kinds of people, from kids getting their first trim to the older men who just want their usual look. There isn’t anything fancy about how we work. We use the tools we have and try to do a decent job so people don’t walk out feeling unhappy. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break. If you’re coming from the main road, just look for the bank and we’re right there. It’s a family-run kind of setup, so things aren’t always perfectly organized, but we make it work. We don't really do big advertisements or anything. Most of our regulars found us just by walking past on their way to the market. We just keep the mirrors clean and make sure there’s a seat ready for whoever walks in next.
