Poonam Beauty Arts

My shop is right here in Vijay Nagar, at number 288 in Scheme 94. It's quite close to Bombay Hospital, so it’s easy to find if you know that area of Indore. I’ve been doing this for a long time now. Poonam Beauty Arts is just a small place where I work on my own mostly. I do bridal makeup and henna, and the regular salon things. It’s not a big corporate salon with lots of staff. It’s just me and sometimes a helper if I can find one. The room is decorated with some of my own work photos on the walls. I try to keep it tidy but with all the powders and hair stuff, it’s a constant job. Customers usually call before coming over because I might be busy with someone else. We have a lot of regular families from the neighborhood who have been coming to me for years. It’s nice to see the kids grow up. I don't use any fancy machines, just my hands and the tools I’ve had for a while. It works fine for what we do. If you are around Vijay Nagar, you can just stop by and see if I'm free. It's a quiet street usually, except for the traffic near the hospital. I'm usually there until late evening every day except Sundays sometimes when I need to rest or visit family.
