Yashika Saloon

You can find us at Shop Number 23 in the Navneet Darshan building. We are located at 42/3 in the Old Palasia area of Indore. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of shops and houses packed together. We’ve been cutting hair and doing shaves here for quite some years now. It’s a straightforward men’s saloon. We have three chairs and a small bench where people sit and read the newspaper while they wait. The space is a bit small, but it’s enough for what we do. We don’t have fancy decorations on the walls, just some old posters of haircuts. Indore is a fast city, but in here, things move a bit slower. We take our time with the shaves and hair trims. We get a lot of regular guys who live in the apartments nearby. They come in every two weeks like clockwork. The lighting in the shop is a bit dim in the back, but we have big windows in the front that let in the morning sun. We keep the floor swept, but with so many haircuts, there’s always a little bit of hair around. It’s just a regular place where you can get a decent haircut without any fuss. We open early in the morning before most of the other shops in Navneet Darshan. We like being part of the local community here in Old Palasia.
