Our shop is tucked away at 217 Palsikar on the Mai Road. It’s not a very large space, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We’ve got the usual setup with the chairs and the big mirrors that cover most of one wall. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Saturdays, it usually ends up a bit messy with hair and towels everywhere. The area here in Palsikar Colony is quite lived-in, and we feel like a part of the furniture now. We spend our days mostly standing on our feet, watching the traffic go by through the front window. The light inside is a bit yellow, which gives the place a warm feel when the sun starts to go down. We use the same tools we’ve had for years because they still work perfectly fine. We don't have a website or anything like that. If people want to find us, they just walk down the road and look for the door. It’s a very manual kind of life. We sharpen the razors, wash the capes, and keep the scissors oiled. Most of the time, the conversation is about local things, like the price of vegetables or the cricket scores. It’s just a normal shop for normal people who need a trim without any of the fancy extras you get elsewhere.
