Star Hair Dressing Saloon

We are located at 1608 Maulana Azad Marg in Mhow, which is right behind the sabji market. You can usually hear the vendors shouting and the smell of fresh vegetables when you walk toward our door. It is a small Indore neighborhood spot and we have been here for years. The shop is quite basic, just some mirrors and the old-style barber chairs that are actually very comfortable. We get a lot of people who are just finishing their shopping at the market and decide to stop in for a quick shave or a haircut. It is a bit of a tight space when there are four or five people waiting, but everyone is friendly and they don't mind the squeeze. We have a small television in the corner that is usually playing the news or a cricket match if one is on. My brother and I run the place together. We don't really have a schedule, we just open early and stay until the last person is done. Mhow is a nice place to live and work because everyone knows everyone. We don't do any fancy styling, just the basic cuts that most men around here prefer. It is a simple life and a simple shop. If you are ever near the sabji market, you will see our board hanging out front. It is a bit faded now but it still does the job.
