You can find Shri Mahavir Iron & Hardware Store on Jawahar Marg. We are at Plot No. 443, which is right near the Saiffy Hotel. It’s a busy street, and there’s always something happening right outside our front door. Inside the store, it’s a mix of smells—mostly cold metal and a bit of machine oil. We sell iron and hardware, so it’s a lot of heavy stuff to move around. We’ve got shelves full of bolts, tools, and all sorts of things people need for building or fixing stuff. It’s not a shiny showroom like you see in malls. It’s a real hardware store where things are stacked high and you might have to move a few heavy boxes to find exactly what you want. We’ve been here a long time, and we know many of our regular customers by their first names. They come in for a specific screw or a piece of iron, and we help them find it. It gets a bit chaotic during the middle of the day, but we manage to keep it moving. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where the inventory is hidden. It’s a bit of a workout moving some of the iron bars around, but it keeps us in good shape. We don't use a computer for every little thing; sometimes a pen and a notebook are just faster. It’s a traditional way of doing business for this part of town. We like the pace here.
