Hardware Stores

We’ve got our shop at 78 Siyaganj, right on the Main Road. It’s a very busy street, especially in the early mornings when everyone is opening up their shutters. Hardware Stores is exactly what the name says it is. We have shelves filled with everything from tiny nails to heavy tools. It’s a bit dark inside because the building is old and we have so much stock piled up high. We know exactly where the small stuff is, even if it looks like a total jumble to anyone else walking in. There’s always a bit of dust on the boxes, but the tools inside are perfectly fine. We don’t really do fancy displays or window shopping here. If you need something specific, you just ask us and we go find it in the back or up on a high shelf somewhere. The floor is old stone and it’s seen a lot of heavy boots over the years. Siyaganj is a tough place to find parking, so most people just hop out and run in quickly. We’ve been here a long time and have seen many neighbors come and go. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we’re just focused on the daily sales. We don’t have a website or any social media. We just open the shutters, drink our morning tea, and wait for the first customer. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We like the routine of the market life.
