Yash Computers & Stationers

Yash Computers & Stationers is up on the second floor of Shree Balaji Tower. We are at No. 216, right in the middle of Khajuri Bazar. It’s always loud and crowded down on the street with all the shoppers, but once you get up to the second floor, it quietens down just a little bit. We have stacks of paper and boxes of parts all over the place. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. The elevator in Shree Balaji Tower is sometimes out of order, so we end up taking the stairs quite a bit. It’s good exercise, though we complain about it when we have to carry heavy boxes up. We’ve been in Khajuri Bazar for a long time. People come in and out all day long. We sell a lot of different things, so the shelves are usually pretty full and a bit dusty. We don't have a fancy layout or any clever marketing. It’s just rows of stuff and a counter where we sit and talk to the customers. Some days are much busier than others, especially when the schools start back up or when people need supplies for their offices. We try to keep the fans going at full speed because it gets very warm in the afternoons. Yash Computers & Stationers is just a local shop. We know most of the other shopkeepers in the building. It’s a community feel here. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, right here at No. 216.
