Megabyte Computers

Megabyte Computers is located at M-75 in Trade Center 18. We are in South Tukoganj, right behind the Hukumchand Ghantaghar. You can actually hear the clock tower chime from our shop if the traffic isn't too loud. The Trade Center is a big building with lots of different businesses, but we are tucked into our own corner there. We spend the day surrounded by opened-up computers and piles of keyboards. The smell of solder is pretty common in our shop when we are doing repairs. It’s a busy area of South Tukoganj, so there are always people coming in with laptops that won't start or wanting to buy some new parts. Our shelves are a bit disorganized, with cables tangled together in bins, but we usually know where everything is. We have a small counter where people leave their machines for us to look at. The lighting in the Trade Center is a bit dim in the hallways, but we have bright lamps on our workbenches. We aren't a big corporate chain or anything like that. We are just a local computer shop where we try to fix what’s broken. Some days we are buried in work and other days we just chat with the people who drop by. It’s a good location being so close to the Ghantaghar. We have been here for a long time and the routine feels comfortable now. It’s just where we work every day.
