Selfie Unisex Salon

You can find Selfie Unisex Salon on the first floor of our building in Vijay Nagar, right above where all the rush is near C 21 Mall. It is a very busy part of Indore, and there is always something going on downstairs with the shoppers and the cars. We chose this spot because so many people come to the mall and the other shops around here every day. The salon is a unisex place, so we get both men and women coming in for all sorts of things. We have a bit of a modern look inside, with some bright lights and big mirrors, but it’s still just a local shop at heart. We do everything from basic haircuts to more involved things like hair smoothing or doing makeup for parties. Being on the first floor, we get a nice view of the street, which is good for people-watching when it’s raining outside. The shop name, Selfie, was just something we thought sounded fun and easy for the younger crowd that hangs out in Vijay Nagar to remember. It gets really packed on Saturday nights before people head out to the nearby cafes or movies. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge with leather sofas, just a few plastic chairs where you can sit and look at your phone while you wait. We try to work quickly but carefully so people don't have to wait too long for their turn in the chair.
