Sanjana Hair Saloon

Sanjana Hair Saloon is located right on Dewas Road, near the Satelite Junction in Indore. If you know the area, you know how much traffic passes by Lasudia Dewas Naka every single day. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, just doing our thing with hair and shaves. The shop is at number 2, and it’s easy to find if you’re looking for it. Inside, we have a few old chairs that are still comfortable enough. We spend most of our time standing around, waiting for the next person to walk in. It gets noisy outside with all the trucks and bikes going towards the highway, but inside it’s usually just the sound of the scissors and the radio playing some songs. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle a comb and a blade. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone comes in right before closing time. It’s just how things go. We see a lot of regular faces from the factories and the offices nearby. Indore is growing fast, and there are new buildings coming up all the time, but our little corner on Dewas Road stays pretty much the same. We keep the floor swept and the water tanks full. There’s no big philosophy behind it; we just show up and do the work that needs doing. It’s a steady life and we are happy to be here.
